Catchphrase/Slogan Contest Rules
This contest is open toCal State Fullerton
students, staff and faculty only.
Contest entries are defined as the slogan(s),
catchphrase(s), tagline(s), etc. that are
created by the participant and submitted
to Titan Radio for potential selection as
the station's official slogan, catchphrase,
and/or tagline. Entries are further defined
to include the physical and/or digital media
on which the slogan(s), catchphrases(s),
and/or tagline(s) are submitted to Titan
Radio. By submitting contest entries, all
participants agree to and are bound by these
official rules. Titan Radio reserves the
right to change or establish additional
rules at any time with or without notification.
The Titan Radio Catchphrase/Slogan Contest
(henceforth referred to as the "contest")
is open to all listeners and Titan Radio
volunteers 18 years of age and older, or
minors with parental approval. Paid employees
of Titan Radio and other stations in the
greater Los Angeles area and their families
are ineligible to win. One winner per household.
Titan Radio is not responsible for items
stolen, damaged, or lost in the mail. Titan
Radio reserves the right to make changes
in contest rules with or without notification
or announcement, and is not responsible
for entries which are lost or not received
for reason including, but not limited to,
technical malfunctions, misplacement, negligence,
natural and/or man-made disasters, etc.
Each participant/creator of an entry may
submit up to five entries, although only
one of their entries will be chosen as the
winner and/or runner-up. Decisions of the
management regarding all aspects of the
contest are final.
By participating, each participant/creator
of the entry agrees that Titan Radio (here
and henceforth including Titan Communications
and California State University, Fullerton)
can use his/her voice, name, likeliness,
city and/or state of residence for promotional
purposes without additional compensation
or permission. The participant/creator agrees
to wave all rights to inspect or approve
the use of their voice, name, likeness,
city and/or state of residence by Titan
Radio. Each participant/creator must disclose
his or her legal name, address, email, and
telephone number. Any person found to have
supplied false or misleading information
may be disqualified from the contest and
therefore forfeit the prize.
By participating, each participant/creator
of the entry understands and agrees that
their entry will become the sole property
of Titan Radio from the time of submission
into perpetuity.
The participant/creator understands and
agrees that they will retain no form of
copyright whatsoever on the entry and that
they will not be entitled to royalties or
remuneration in any from resulting form
the use of their entry by Titan Radio. The
participant/creator understands and agrees
that they retain no legal right to use the
entry for commercial purposes without the
express permission of Titan Radio. The participant/creator
agrees to wave all rights to inspect or
approve the use of the entry by Titan Radio.
The participant/creator further agrees and
understands that Titan Radio has the right
to videotape, audiotape, photograph, record,
store, edit, and otherwise use, reproduce,
alter, and/or create derivative works from
their submission in whole or in part and
use it in the formats and for the purposes
stated herein.
Titan radio reserves all rights to use
any and all entries (including, but not
limited to the winning entry) in whatever
manner they see fit and which is not contrary
to law with or without the consent of or
acknowledgement to the original creator.
This includes, but is not limited to use
in print media, promotional items, websites,
audio productions/clips (including, but
not limited to, use on Titan Radio, broadcast
radio, satellite radio, and internet radio),
television (including, but not limited to,
use on the Titan Channel, broadcast television,
cable, and satellite).
By participating, each participant/creator
agrees to hold harmless California State
University, Fullerton, a campus of the California
State University and Colleges under the
authority of the Board of Trustees, its
agents, officers, and employees from any
liability resulting from their involvement
in this contest and, where applicable, the
subsequent use of their entry.
By participating, each participants/creator
is confirming that the entry is their original
work and that the use of their entry in
the manner described above does not violate
the copyright/intellectual property rights
of non-participants.
Prizes: Grand Prize (1):
The winner of the Grand Prize, as determined
by the Titan Radio Management team will
have their entry featured as the new slogan/tagline/catchphrase
of Titan Radio to be associated and identified
with the station for as long as is deemed
appropriate by Titan Radio and Titan Communications.
The winner of the Grand Prize will also
receive on-air and website acknowledgement,
the frequency and duration of which will
be determined by the management. The winner
of the Grand Prize will also receive a Titan
Radio "prize pack," consisting of station
promotional items. Exact quantities and
types to be determined. Runner-Ups
(2): The runner-ups, as determined
by the Titan Radio Management Team will
receive a Titan Radio "prize pack," consisting
of station promotional items. Exact quantities
and types to be determined.
If the Winner is instructed to pick up
his or her prize(s) at the Titan Radio station,
the address is: PLS-51 800 N. State College
Blvd., Fullerton CA. No proxies (authorized
agents or written authorizations) are accepted.
If the winning slogan is found to be
unusable for any reason, Titan Radio reserves
the right to declare a new Grand Prize Winner.
Titan Radio further reserves the right to
end the contest at any time without declaring
a Grand Prize Winner or Runner-Ups. If no
submitted entries are deemed acceptable
by the management, then no Grand Prize Winner
or Runner-Ups will be declared.
Duration: Entries will be accepted from
12:01 AM on Saturday, May 3, 2008 until
11:59 AM on Thursday, May 15th, 2008. Titan
Radio reserves the right to extend or truncate
the length of the contest if deemed necessary.
Contests are void where prohibited or
restricted by law. All Federal, State, Local
laws and regulations shall apply. No purchase
or consideration is necessary to win. Decisions
by Titan Radio regarding winners and all
contest details are final and binding in
all respects. If the Winner is a minor (under
the age of 18), prize(s) will be awarded
to the Winner's parent or legal guardian.
Odds of winning are undeterminable and
depend on varying telephone response rates,
internet access and/or the volume of entities
received. If any portion of the above rules
is determined to be unenforceable due to
local or state laws, all other portions
of these official rules shall remain in
effect.

General Contest Rules
All participants agree to and are bound
by official rules. Titan Radio reserves
the right to change or establish additional
rules at any time.
Titan Radio contests are open to all

only one contest every 20 days. One winner
per household. Titan Radio is not responsible
for items stolen, damaged, or lost in the
mail. Titan Radio reserves the right to
make changes in contest rules with or without
notification or announcement, and is not
responsible for telephone malfunctions or
other errors in connection with the call.
Decisions of management are final.
By participating, each contestant agrees
that Titan Radio can use his/her voice,
name, and likeliness for promotional purposes
without additional compensation or permission.
In the case of prizes with a retail value
of over $500, the Winner will be ineligible
to win another prize for six months following
the date of the contest. Each qualifier
must disclose his or her legal name, address,
email, and telephone number. Any person
found to have supplied false or misleading
information may be disqualified from the
contest and therefore forfeit the prize.
If the Winner is instructed to pick up
his or her prize at the Titan Radio station,
and it has not been claimed in a timely
manner or by the time of the show/event,
the Winner forfeits the prize and Titan
Radio reserves the right to select another
winner. Prizes are non-transferable and
substitutions of cash or equivalent are
not allowed except at the discretion of
Titan Radio.
If the Winner is instructed to pick up
his or her prize at the Titan Radio station,
the address is: PLS-51 800 N. State College
Blvd., Fullerton CA. If a concert or other
ticketed event has been awarded as a prize
and the concert or event is postponed, rained
out, cancelled or does not occur for any
reason Titan Radio will not be responsible
for replacing the prize. No proxies (authorized
agents or written authorizations) are accepted.
Some concert prizes may be in the form
of a single ticket, not a pair of tickets.
The Winner will be notified at the time
of winning if the prize is a single ticket.
Dates for concerts, flight departures/arrivals,
weekend stays, etc. cannot be changed by
the Winner. If the Winner is not able or
chooses not to accept prize "as is," the
Winner forfeits his or her prize. Titan
Radio reserves the right to select another
winner. The Winner is responsible for all
costs associated with travel to any venue
or event for which a prize is awarded, unless
otherwise specified.
Movie tickets are an invitation and do
not guarantee entry. Contests are void where
prohibited or restricted by law. All Federal,
State, Local laws and regulations shall
apply. No purchase or consideration is necessary

by Titan Radio for faulty, mis-transcribed,
misdirected or misdialed telephone communication
or technical difficulties experienced by
callers throughout the call-in portion of
the contest. Calls for contestants are taken
