Volunteer Broadcaster Positions:

radio show? Titan Radio will be
accepting applications for on-air talent
for the Fall 2011 semester
this September. Stop by PLS-51 in the basement
of Cal State Fullerton's Pollak Library
to pick up an application.
(Broadcaster Positions are open to current
Cal State Fullerton students, staff, and
faculty only).
Paid
Positions:
Student Managers will be involved in all
aspects of the operation and administration
of the Titan Radio station. As representatives
of Titan Radio, the Student Managers will
be expected to support and adhere to all
station policies and conduct business in
a professional manner, taking into consideration
the Titan Radio mission statement, the station's
objectives, the needs of the University
and surrounding communities, and the advice
obtained from Titan Communications [faculty]
management. Student Managers must be currently
enrolled students in good standing at California
State University, Fullerton. Titan Radio
management positions will include the following:
General
Manager
One position available
to serve as the chief operator of Titan
Radio. As chief operator, the General Manager
will be expected to oversee the day-to-day
operations of the station. A General Manager
should possess excellent leadership, interpersonal
and organizational skills. They should be
team-oriented and possess a creative sense.
Program Director
One position available to create and/or
oversee on-air programming at Titan Radio.
The Program Director must have experience
and/or be willing to become familiar with
the Pristine automated system and Music
Plus software. A Program Director should
exhibit a high level of creativity as well
as computer skills. They should also be
team-oriented, possess organizational skills,
and have the ability to meet deadlines.
Music Director
One position available to oversee music
programming/content for Titan Radio. The
Music Director has to be available to
review and catalogue all music that
comes to Titan Radio. A Music Director
must have a diverse musical background.
They should be team-oriented, possess
organizational skills, and have the
ability to work for others and meet
deadlines. The Music Director will be
available to work at the station as
assigned, based on the station's need.
Technical Director
One position available to be responsible
for all technical aspects of station equipment
and the production laboratory, including
maintenance and repair. The Technical Director
must have experience and feel comfortable
working with both hardware such as a mixer,
patch bay and rack components, and software
such as ProTools. A Technical Director should
be team-oriented, possess organizational
skills, and have the ability to work for
others, meet deadlines and take direction
as well as initiative.
Promotions and Underwriting
Director
One position available
to direct and implement all promotional
activity with Titan Radio to the business
and listening community and to be in charge
of various fundraising activities such as
sponsorships, donations and membership drives.
A Promotions Director must possess exceptional
interpersonal and communication skills and
be creatively oriented with the ability
to multitask and handle lots of details.
They should also be team-oriented, and have
the ability to work for others and meet
deadlines. Experience or interest in marketing
and sales is a plus.
